5th Anniversary - Short Story 4

 

Western Wizards: "One~ two... Kenja-sama, happy anniversary!"

Murr: "Kenja-sama, I love you! You love me too, right?"
Shylock: "Kenja-sama, thank you for always putting your heart into protecting our pride. I’m grateful every day."
Chloe: "Thanks for always watching over us! It’s thanks to you that I and everyone else have been able to grow little by little."
Rustica: "Today is a celebration of the connections we’ve all made and the passion Kenja-sama has brought to life."
Akira: "Thank you so much! I’m so happy to be able to spend such joyful times with everyone!"

Shylock: "Oh my, how adorably eager."
Rustica: "When expectations are high, I can’t help but give my best effort."
Akira: "Eh… uh…"
Chloe: "Since it’s a special day, I want to make Kenja-sama smile just as much as everyone else does!"

Murr: "Then I’m going first! 《Eanul Rambul!》 (sparkles)"
Shylock: "《Invibelle!》 (flower petals)"
Chloe: "《Suispicibo Voitengok!》 (fireworks)"
Rustica: "《Amorest Viesse!》 (fireworks)"
Akira: "Th-thank you so much, everyone!"
Western Wizards: "You’re welcome!"

Shylock: "By the way, I heard about these 'companies' and 'presidents' from Kenja-sama’s world. If you were the president, what kind of company would you create with us Western Wizards?"
Akira: "With the Western Wizards? You’re all so social and artistic, I think there are many possibilities! Maybe a shopping center with a clothing store, music school, and bar!"
Murr: "What would I do?"
Akira: "A cram school… maybe?"
Murr: "Sounds fun! I’m in!"
Chloe: "If we’re starting a company, I want all of us to do the same work together!"
Rustica: "I agree. Is there a kind of company where we could all work side by side?"
Akira: "Hmm... Oh! How about a detective agency?"

Western Wizards: "A detective agency!"
Akira: "Yes! You’re good at disguises, gathering information, and other investigative skills. Though… tailing someone might be too noticeable…"
Murr: "Sounds fun! What would make the detective agency 'Western'?"
Akira: "Then… let’s set it up at the westernmost point of my world, on Yonaguni Island!"
Chloe: "Wow! That sounds amazing! A detective agency on an island—how cool!"
Shylock: "Working in a place with an ocean view? I’d gladly welcome that."
Murr: "I hope someday we can visit Kenja-sama’s world!"
Akira: "If you all came to my world, I’d be so happy. It sounds like it would be so much fun!"
Akira: "And if the detective agency grows… I think we should open a branch in Umeda, Osaka. It suits the Western vibe!"
Chloe: "Ume—that’s a flower’s name in Kenja-sama’s world, right? When we open the branch, I want to send lots of flowers!"
Rustica: "Then, Kenja-sama, from here on out, please continue to..."

Western Wizards: "Take care of us and this world!"

★Yonaguni is one of the Yaeyama Islands. It is the westernmost inhabited island of Japan, and is 108 kilometers (67 mi) from the east coast of Taiwan.

★Umeda is a district in Osaka known for shopping. It is also a transportation hub, with stations JR, Hankyu, Hanshin, as well as three of the subway lines. The kanji is 梅田 with 梅(Ume) meaning plum.
