Notice of Renewal for Training & Practice Grounds
With the release of app version 3.0.0 on December 25, Coly has revamped the Training & Practice Grounds!
Training Updates
Updates to the Training Preparation Screen
The Training Preparation Screen now includes three new tabs: Skill Tab, Partner Bonus Tab, and Partner Traits Tab.
These tabs allow you to easily check the details of the partner cards in your lineup at a glance.
Additionally, the Skill Tab now lets you view skill descriptions by simply tapping the skill icons.
Implementation of the Sage Memo
A new feature called Sage Memo has been added to both the training preparation screen and during training. This feature allows you to view information about awakened characters, unlocked 4-panel comics, and awakening conditions from any spot.
By selecting an awakened character you'd like to awaken in the Sage Memo, the Partner Traits Tab in the training preparation screen will display whether each partner card possesses the required or restricted traits for that character.
During training, you can also check the Sage Memo to view the current stats of your wizard and potential awakening candidates. This can be done during all turns.
For more details about the Sage Memo, please refer to the help section on the scenario card selection screen or the training preparation screen.
Updates to the Magic Manor Courtyard
The Magic Manor Courtyard has been redesigned to better support your understanding of training mechanics! Each spot now has specific goals, and completing them for the first time will grant rewards such as mana stones and training cards.
New players or those wanting a refresher on training mechanics are encouraged to give it a try!
(Note: Spot episodes in the Magic Manor Courtyard remain unchanged. High-score rewards for the Courtyard have been discontinued.)
Overhaul of the Forest of Ice’s Special Command: Prophecy Book
The special command Prophecy Book in the Forest of Ice has been revamped. With the new system, completing the trials listed in the Prophecy Book will ensure that the awakened character achieves a specified rarity or higher in the training results. For more details, check the hints and detailed hints sections in the Forest of Ice.
Changes to Training Spot Unlock Conditions
The required User Rank for unlocking certain training spots has been adjusted:
- Forest of Ice: Rank changed from 8 → 1
- Forest of Dreams: Rank changed from 1 → 8
(Note: Even if some spots become locked after the update, any previously unlocked episodes will remain available to read from the story page.)
Adjustments to Training Skills
Some training skills for specific cards have been modified:
- Target Cards:
- N [Central Wizard] Cain
- N [Northern Wizard] Owen
- N [Eastern Wizard] Faust
- N [Western Wizard] Chloe
- N [Southern Wizard] Figaro
Before: Reduces participation rate in a specified interaction type by 5%; increases it by 30%.
After: Increases the effect of a specified interaction type by 30%.
(Note: The specified interaction type varies by card. The skill effects listed are for fully leveled cards.)
In addition, the activation timing of some skills has been changed from "at the end of the turn" to "at the start of the turn." This adjustment takes into account probabilities and other factors, so the overall expected effect remains the same.
Other Updates
- Improved various animations during training.
- Growth points are now included in training rewards.
- Conversations with wizards may now occur when selecting "Rest" during training.
- Added details to the spot information about traits gained during successful interactions.
- Players can now transition from the training results screen to the party formation or growth screens.
- Added a "Power Rank" to training results. Creating a character with a high Power Rank will display "New Record" near the rank.
Practice Grounds Implementation
The Missions feature has been revamped as the new Practice Grounds!
In addition to the existing Training mode, a new feature called Trials of Strength has been added, and the battle system has been overhauled.
Training
Battle against rivals of your choice to test your skills. The items and experience points you can earn vary by day of the week. Check the Daily Bonuses in the Practice Grounds for details.
Trials of Strength
Assemble a team according to conditions set for each stage and defeat the designated rival. Completing a stage for the first time will earn you initial rewards. New stages will be added in the future!
With the new battle system, each awakened character has been given a new Power Rank stat and new Practice Grounds skills (Leader Skills and Member Skills). These have been automatically added to all previously awakened characters.
(Note: The event battle system against calamities remains unchanged.)
New Battle System Overview
In the revamped system, you can form a party of up to 9 awakened characters and battle rivals in three positions: Sky, Land, and Marine. The side with the higher total damage across these positions wins.
Characters in each position will either perform normal attacks or activate their Member Skills. Leaders in each position may activate their Leader Skills under certain conditions during battle.
Normal attack damage is primarily calculated based on Power Rank, but victory may also depend on the combination of characters, the stage’s country, and activated skills.
Experiment with different awakened characters to create your strongest party!
